Welcome to the discussion for chapter 24 of I'd Tell You I Love You But Then I'd Have to Kill You by Ally Carter! The discussion is open to everyone. There are no right or wrong answers so feel free to tell us what you really think!
HEADS UP: THERE WILL BE SPOILERS**
1. Do you think Liz overreacted? What would you have done or said if you were her?
2. Why did Cammie feel the need to "surveil" Josh's house?
3. Do you think Cammie just wants to be a normal girl? Are the pressures of Gallagher Academy getting to be too much for her?
4. Everyone was surprised that Anna had a boyfriend. Do you think this makes Cammie and Josh's thing any less special, interesting, or out of the ordinary?
5. Do you think Liz will get over it quickly? Or do you think she'll need some time for Cammie to prove herself again?
6. Do you agree that it's every girl's right to cry?

1. No, Liz was definitely within her rights to be upset because Cammie just stood there, but I also can see Cammie's dilemma in living in 2 worlds that cannot collide yet. If I were Liz, I'd be mad at Cammie, but I would give her a chance to redeem herself.
ReplyDelete2. I think to remind herself or ask herself if he really is worth it. Or else to imagine for a moment what it would be like to be "normal" and not worry about spy stuff.
3. It is too early for Cammie to get stressed out! But yes, I think she has to take a good long look at what she wants to do and if she wants to share that with someone who may not understand.
4. It does raise questions as to how Anna and her boyfriend manage - and if he is a civilian and knows about her spy school. But I think if Anna can do it, then there is hope for Cammie and Josh!
It also brings to question about how much do these girls know about each other.
5. Liz gives me the impression as a person who will need time to forgive Cammie unless the situation arises where Cammie has to save her life. Then perhaps sooner than later.
6. Yes! No question about it :D
2. To get away from the pressure of the Academy and being a spy. And maybe to also fin the answer if Josh was really worth the trouble.
ReplyDelete3. Maybe. I think Cammie still want to follow in her parents footsteps but she would still like to be your average girl every once in a while.
4. Actually, when Anna said that I couldn't help but question if the only reason those words flew out of her mouth was to make Dillon and his friends back off.
6. 180%
These are all good answers! Here are mine:
ReplyDelete1. Maybe a little. I would've given Cammie a chance to tell her side of the story first before blowing up.
2. Maybe to better understand him?
3. I think she mostly wants to be able to not keep secrets.
4. Kind of. It's not such a huge, unmanageable situation anymore.
5. Yeah, it won't take her long to break down.
6. Definitely!
Thank you all for participating in the discussion!
1. No, I think Liz is being loyal to her fellow spy gals. I'd probably do the same as Liz.
ReplyDelete2. I think Cammie is at odds with the Josh situation. It probably helps her think about her predicament by being close to him.
3. No, I think Cammie still wants to be a spy. She just is trying to sort out her emotions as well and figure out how to fit them into the spy business.
4. Nope, they're only human - can't avoid the sparks of love.
5. I think Liz will come around. Good friends usually do.
6. Yes, crying is essential for release - doesn't have to be for sad ocassions only.
